Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir inspected the field situation on the outskirts of Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon. He said, "Our main battlefield is here in Lebanon. The goal that was set for you is to remove the direct threat from the people of the north, and you are implementing it firmly. Yesterday we entered into a ceasefire in Iran, as the achievements of our army in the war against Iran are considered unprecedented and historic. Iran before this war is not the same as after it, as it is much weaker. We are ready to return to fighting forcefully at any moment if necessary." He stressed that the Israeli army is in a state of war, and said: “We continue to fight against Hezbollah with great force. We continue to deepen the ground maneuvers and we continue to strike the party. This is a very strong operation, and our forces are working on the front lines and in the depths.” He considered that "the blow that Iran received affects Hezbollah. Hezbollah has become isolated inside Lebanon and separated from its strategic artery in Iran. The Lebanese government is more aware than ever of the magnitude of the problem in the presence of a radical extremist organization on its territory." Zamir pointed out, "Yesterday we dealt a strong and harsh blow to Hezbollah. They left the suburb and moved to other places, and from there they directed the fighting. Our mission is clear, which is to continue to deepen the strikes and continue to weaken Hezbollah." He concluded, addressing his soldiers: “I see the solid spirit you are showing. You are exhausting Hezbollah. Everywhere we are required to reach clear superiority and we will resolve it clearly and effectively. There is an opportunity, and we will continue working to restore security to the people of the north for a long time,” he said.
